Vision
To grow a multi-generational, multi-cultural church that will represent, demonstrate, and advance the Kingdom of God.
Matthew 6:10
Mission
To raise up fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ that will impact their community, region, nation, and the world.
Matthew 28:18-20
Relational
We believe that relationships are the essence of life and that loving relationships should permeate every aspect of church life. Every believer is connected relationally in authentic, unified fellowship and community with other members of the Church.
Matthew 22:37-40
Real
We believe the church should be an authentic community where the masks come off and people can be honest and vulnerable. In authentic communities, people feel free to be real with God, themselves, and each other without fear of being judged.
2 Corinthians 4:2 (MSG)
Relevant
We believe the church should be culturally relevant in order to reach our primary target audience—the unchurched. Creativity helps make our presentation of the Gospel relevant. While the message must never change, the methods we use to communicate it must constantly evolve.
Acts 17:22-28; 1 Corinthians 9:22; Matthew 11:19
Biblical
We believe that the church should be founded on the Bible and built on the Acts 2 church model. We believe anointed Bible teaching is the primary catalyst for spiritual transformation. The Bible should serve as the moral compass of the church.
Acts 2:42-47; 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Missional
We believe the primary mission of the church is the salvation and discipleship of unbelievers. Missional churches make this mission their top priority. Every believer has a part in fulfilling the mission of making disciples of the whole world. Missional churches also help birth new churches.
Luke 19:10; Matthew 28:19
Passionate
We believe in passionate spirituality and inspiring worship services where people personally experience God’s presence that leads people to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. With passion, the church becomes a powerful, life-giving force.
John 4:22-24; Matthew 22:37-39; James 5:16; 2 Samuel 6:16
Spirit-filled
We believe the church should be filled with the Holy Spirit and operate in the freedom, power, and gifts of the Spirit. We believe that all the gifts of the Spirit are for today, but that the Holy Spirit determines which gifts each believer receives. We believe the evidence of a Spirit-filled life is the fruit of the Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Galatians 5:22-23; Matthew 7:21-23
Excellent
We believe that excellence honors God and inspires people. Excellence is a way of life—it is doing the very best with what we have. We must constantly strive to improve in every area of ministry.
Ecclesiastes 9:10; Galatians 6:4; Colossians 3:23
Transformational
We believe the church should be a place where broken people can be forgiven, healed, restored, set free, and transformed into fully devoted disciples of Christ. The church is God’s primary tool for societal transformation.
Romans 8:29; Isaiah 61:1-3; Matthew 16:24
Empowering
We believe that the primary role of church leaders is to empower people to discover, develop, and deploy their spiritual gifts. We desire to inspire people to pursue their dreams and fulfill their God-given destinies.
2 Timothy 2:2; 1 Peter 4:10; Exodus 18:17-23
Compassionate
We believe the church should be compassionate to the needs of humanity and seek opportunity to serve its community. Our goal is to be a place of compassion, healing, acceptance, hope, and restoration for a hurting world.
Matthew 14:14; Matthew 5:14-16; Mark 10:45
Fun
We believe the church should be fun and marked by celebration. The Bible teaches us that in God’s presence there is fullness of joy, that laughter is good medicine, and that there is a party in heaven every time one sinner repents.
Psalm 16:11; Proverbs 17:22; Luke 15:7
